Management accounts that help you decide what to do next
Turn transactions into timely reporting, useful commentary and actions the leadership team can understand and own.
A report is only useful if it changes a decision
Management accounts should explain what happened, why it happened, what is likely to happen next and what needs attention. A long pack of historical numbers without context is not management information.
Axcelera builds a reporting rhythm around the economics of your business and the decisions your leadership team needs to make.
Your reporting pack can include
- Profit and loss, balance sheet and cash-flow reporting.
- Budget and forecast comparisons with clear variance explanations.
- KPIs linked to the business model and growth plan.
- Profitability by client, project, product, channel or location.
- Working-capital, debtor and cash commentary.
- Rolling forecasts and scenario updates.
- A concise executive summary with priorities and decisions required.
Built for the people using it
We agree who receives the pack, which decisions it supports and how quickly it must be available. The output should be clear enough for non-finance leaders, detailed enough for management and consistent enough to track over time.
A repeatable monthly rhythm
- Close the period and validate the data.
- Produce the pack and investigate material variances.
- Review performance with the leadership team.
- Agree named actions and update the forecast.
- Improve the pack as the business and its decisions change.
Your questions, answered.
How quickly should management accounts be ready?
The right timetable depends on complexity and data quality. The aim is to agree a realistic close date, then improve speed without sacrificing accuracy.
Can you work with Xero, Sage or another system?
Yes. We first assess whether the existing data structure supports the reporting needed and recommend proportionate changes where it does not.
Do we need a full finance team?
Not necessarily. Management accounts can be a focused service, but weak bookkeeping or controls may need to be addressed so the reporting becomes reliable.
